Let the measure of the two parallel sides a, b of the trapezium = 12 cm and 8 cm. Area of a trapezium = ½ ×( a+b)×height, => 60 cm² = ½ ×(12 cm + 8 cm)× height, ==> height = 60 cm² ×2/20 cm= 6 cm.
