The base area of aright circular cone is 13.86 sq. cm ant it's slant height is 8cm.Find the curved surface area of the cone. ​

Given :-

  • Area of Base of cone = 13.86m²
  • Slant height of the cone = 8cm

To Find:-

  • The Curved surface area of cone

Formulae used:-

  • C. S. A of cone = πrl

Where,

  • r = Radius
  • l = slant height

Now,

→ Area of circular base = 13.86m²

→ πr² = 13.86

→ r² = (13.86 × 7)/22

→ r² = 4.41

→√r² = √4.41

→ r = 2.1cm

Hence, The radius of circular cone is 2.1cm

Therefore,

→ C. S . A of cone = πrl

→ 3.14 × 2.1 × 8

→ 52.75cm²

Hence, The Curved surface area of circular cone is approx 52.75cm²
