First you would figure out how much Jade is running per lap. Since she runs 6 laps to make a mile, for every lap she runs, she runs 1/6 of a mile every lap.

Then seeing that you see how much distance she needs to run which is 5/6 of a mile. You would take the total amount she needs to run 5/6 and divide it by the amount she runs every lap 1/6.
