Answer:

Given

  • Two boys start from the same point
  • Speed of Boy₁ = 4 km/h
  • Speed of Boy₂ = 4.5 km/h
  • Time = 3.5 Hours

To Find

  • The distance between the two boys

Solution

☯ Here we shall use the formula : Speed = Distance/Time

According to the given Question :

  • Speed₁ = 4 km/h
  • Time = 3.5 hours

→ Speed = Distance/Time

→ 4 = Distance/3.5

→ 4 × 3.5 = Distance

→ Distance = 14 km

  • Speed₂ = 4.5 km/h
  • Time = 3.5 hours

→ Speed = Distance/Time

→ 4.5 = Distance/3.5

→ 4.5 × 3.5 = Distance

→ Distance = 15.75 km

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

● Distance Between the two boys will be the difference between the distance covered by boy₁ & boy₂

→ Distance Between the boys = Boy₂ - Boy₁

→ Distance Between the boys = 15.75 - 14

→ Distance Between the boys = 1.75 km
