A number is twice of the other .If the sum od both is 48.Then write the equation representing sum of both numbers and find the numbers​

Let a number be x,

Then the other number be y.

From given, y=2x

Sum of the two numbers is 48

x + y = 48

x + 2x = 48

3x=48

x= 16

Therfore, the numbers are 16, 32.
