P, Q and R represents three numbers respectively. Theratio of P to (Q + R) is 1 : 3. The ratio of (P + Q) to R is4 : 1. Find the ratio of P : Q : R.​

P: Q+R = 1 : 3

P/Q+R = 1/3

3P= Q+R

Q+R = 3P ---- 1

P+Q:R = 4:1

P+Q/R = 4/1

P+Q = 4R ---- 2

eq. 1 - eq. 2 =

R - P = 3P - 4R

5R = 4P

R = 4P/5 ---- 3

putting 3 in 1

Q + 4P/5 = 3P

Q = 11P/5

So, P:Q:R

= P : 11P/5 : 4P/5

= 5P : 11P : 4P (multiplying by 5)

= 5 : 11 : 4 (dividing by P)
