The amount of tin (IV) that would be produced will be 151.74 grams

Stoichiometric calculation

From the equation of the reaction:

Sn + Cl2 ---> SnCl2

Mole ratio of Sn and SnCl2 = 1:1

Mole of 95 g of Sn = 95/118.7

                                        = 0.8 moles

Equivalent mole of SnCl2 = 0.8 moles

Mass of 0.8 mole of SnCl2 = 0.8 x 189.6

                                              = 151.74 grams
