Answer:

Hi !

(k,3) = (x₁,y₁)

(6,-2) = (x₂,y₂)

(-3,4)= (x₃,y₃)

As they are collinear ,

x₁(y₂ - y₃) + x₂(y₃ - y₁) + x₃(y₁ - y₂) = 0

k(-2-4) + 6( 4 -3) + -3(3 -(-2)) = 0

k(-6) + 6(1) + -3(5) = 0

-6k + 6 - 15 = 0

-6k - 9 = 0

-6k = 9

k = 9/-6

k = -3/2
