Given,

Speed = 120km/hr = 120 * 5/18 = (600/18)m/s [ Multiply by 5/18] to convert into  m/s]

Length of train = Xm

Length of the platform = x + 12

Time = 51 sec

Distance covered by train = x + (x + 12) = 2x +12

By using formula distance = speed * time,

2x + 12 = 600/18 * 51

2x + 12 = 30600/18

       2x = 30600/18 - 12

       2x = 30600/18 - 216/18

       2x = 30384/18

       2x = 1688

         x = 844m

Length of the train is 844m

Therefore, length of the bridge = x + 12 = 844 + 12 = 856m.
